Greetings to all. 

My name is Chris Tanner and I am your Region 9 Planning Coordinator. I recently retired from the Salem, Ill police department to join this great team.  I have 36 years police experience with an emphasis in training.  I taught at Olney Central College and Frontier College as well.  I enjoy helping fellow officers making themselves better equipped to handle the job. 

My goal is to visit each department at least twice annually and of course on as needed basis for the more immediate problems.

I  am in the fast mode learning process so be patient with me as we get ILEAS to everyone in southeastern Illinois.
