NIMS Certification

I have been receiving several calls from agencies after checking their NIMS status prior to filing for their MDC grant and finding that they are not able to do so.  If after you find you are not current go back to the home page and locate where it says "NIMS....where do I start ?". You may need to send a resolution to Deb Watts or just complete 2007 or 2008 NIMSCAST.

Make sure to keep your agency information updated. 

REMEMBER....When your resources are tapped and overwhelmed due to natural or manmade disasters or a major planned event..... that is when you call ILEAS. Equipment, manpower and telecommunications are just a phone call  away!!! Mutual aid is always available from your neighbors....
