Evidence Based Police Training for the 21st Century

Description: 

This training will familiarize participants with the latest evidence-based research on American law enforcement and will provide tools for implementing suggested practices to meet the challenges of 21st Century Policing.  Program design is based in part on findings from practitioners, academic scholars and recommendations from The Presidential Task Force, consisting of several members of the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as local, state and federal law enforcement leaders from across the country.  Instruction will include recommendations for improving community relationships, mitigating agency liability, and reducing officer complaints.

This program is open to all levels of law enforcement and will be conducted by Dr. Thomas L. Trice, CEO and President of TRIKEN Consulting out of Belleville, Illinois.  Dr. Trice is a retired Captain with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department and former member of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.
