Fraudulent Documents (Law Enforcement Prevention & Deterrence of Terriorist Acts Customized/AWR-122-C)

This FREE four-hour course will provide an overview of general security features employed by the U.S. government to establish the validity of government documents, as well as known methods used to alter or counterfeit the types of documents commonly presented to law enforcement officers. Several government documents will be discussed including passports, driver’s licenses and social security cards.

All participants will receive a magnifying loop and UV light, as well as checking guide books for U.S., Canada and international IDs.

This DHS-certified program will be presented by LSU’s National Center for Biomedical Research & Training (NCBRT).  Participants are required to obtain a FEMA Student ID (SID) number to participate – go to https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID to complete this simple process.
