The State of Illinois, through the Illinois Terrorism Task Force, in cooperation with member agencies including the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS) and the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team (IMERT) seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Medical Programs Organizer. This position will be filled by ILEAS utilizing grant funds for the purpose of ordering, receiving, distributing and training “Stop the Bleed” materials and kits to state Regional Offices of Education including the greater Chicago area. The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor of Nursing, have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and be available to travel across the state in furtherance of this program. Ideally, this person will have been certified as being a “Stop the Bleed” instructor by the American College of Surgeons. The Medical Programs Organizer will be responsible for effective use of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Power Point and Excel in order to submit reports on product distribution and use, training organized and attended, kit replenishment and to make presentations as requested.
Salary and benefits include:
- Salary: $70,000
- 168 hrs annual PTO

The STB program is currently grant funded thru June 30, 2020. ILEAS is a grant funded public agency. Because of this, all employees understand that should funding stop or be reduced, continued employment may be terminated.
