LMS Basics

  • At its core, a Learning Management System (LMS) hosts online training for a wide range of users and groups

  • Remote access allows for increased course/content flexibility and time savings over a traditional classroom setting

  • Testing with dynamic content, results tracking and certificate generation make this learning method popular in the Law Enforcement environment

  • Content is delivered from an industry-standard Software-As-A-Service platform - in our case Topyx from Interactyx

  • The ILEAS LMS complements the ILEAS Training Center's successful on-premises training

How ILEAS is Leveraging LMS

ILEAS contractors and staff have developed:
  • A variety of curricula targeting not only Law Enforcement, but a wide array of Public Safety users
  • Customized interfaces/dashboards and processes to help agencies easily manage their users, as well as utilize administrative oversight tools
  • Tracking tools to keep current on required professional compliance

Much of the Law Enforcement content is accessible via your existing ILEAS Membership portal, further integrating our Mutual Aid Systems
