The Illinois State Police’s Office of the 9-1-1 Administrator, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Communications, is hosting regional NG9-1-1 workshops. Topics include: “Why NG9-1-1”, an “NG9-1-1 Overview”, “Existing NG9-1-1 Statewide Deployment Models”, “the ESInet”, “Technical Strategies”, “Network Management”, “Cybersecurity” and “Text to 911”.
