The training will focus on objective criteria for criminal interdiction and has been approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the U.S. Department of Justice. The course will focus on state-of-the-art criminal patrol techniques, vehicle stop tactics, officer safety, authority for arrests and detentions, concealment areas, and roadside interviews. The instructional staff includes experienced officers assigned to criminal interdiction units.
