Emergency Planning Process

This course is designed for federal, state and local emergency management officials, volunteer organizations and private sector businesses involved in developing or updating an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).

This training is designed to promote the development of an integrated EOP. Established planning concepts are reviewed and discussed. The components of an effective EOP are presented and discussed. This course will review the planning process, hazard specific planning and hazard analysis. This course addresses all EOP requirements outlined in the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Administrative Rules. Participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned during group activities.
