Hazard Mitigation Meetings in Cook County

ILEAS has been asked to reach out to its members in Cook County to let everyone know about an important series of meeting regarding Hazard Mitigation.

"On behalf of Cook County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM), we are respectfully asking you to participate in our public meetings and survey. Cook County DHSEM is conducting a series of public meetings to better understand the preparedness needs and risk perceptions of its residents as part of the County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan update process.  The later meetings will allow DHSEM to present the public with these findings, as well as the Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan update. In addition, a questionnaire has been distributed throughout the County. Your attendance and feedback are greatly needed and appreciated!"
