ILEAS accepting proposals for Auditing Services

Synopsis: 

The Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants for auditing services for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2019, 2020, and 2021. For auditing purposes, ILEAS has a Grant Fund and a Business Fund. Additionally, there is the ILEAS Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.

The Grant Fund receives Federal Homeland Security Grant Funds, as the largest percent of their grant revenues, which require a Single Audit by the Federal Government. In Fiscal Year 2018, the Revenue for these funds were $7.1 million. ILEAS also has a Business Fund, which receives dues and lease revenues. The revenue for the ILEAS Business Fund was $281,228 in Fiscal Year 2018. The ILEAS Foundation annual revenue is on average approximately $50,000 per year and writes less than 50 checks. In FY 2019, the ILEAS Foundation received $100,000, which was expended during the 2019 FY.
