The ILEAS Governing Board election is currently underway. There are 10 Sheriffs vying for 8 seats and 21 Chiefs of Police competing for another 8 seats. As of February 24th, 130 of the 913 agencies have voted. The election process closes on February 26th at end of the business day. Only one vote per agency. There is still time to cast your ballot for who will represent you on the Board! Announcements of the winners will be on March 1, 2021.
