ILEAS to Hire Grant Support Coordinator

The Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS) is accepting resumes to select a new Grant Support Coordinator.  ILEAS is a public agency that assists law enforcement in Illinois by facilitating mutual aid between over 900 police agencies throughout the state.  ILEAS administers federal and state public safety grants as part of this mission.  ILEAS is based in Urbana, Illinois, and employs over 50 full and part-time staff and training cadre members across the state.  ILEAS oversees an annual budget ranging from $7 to $15 million. The Grant Support Coordinator supports many of the financial processes necessary for the successful functioning of ILEAS.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of service working on grant administration and government budgets, including the production of reports and accounting responsibilities.

A full understanding of the ILEAS mission and enthusiasm to serve the mutual aid needs of law enforcement in Illinois is mandatory.  The office location for this position is at the ILEAS Training Center in Urbana, Illinois.

Annual salary and benefits assigned to this position:

  • Full Time Salary (35 hours/week):  $50,000 - $61,000 annually
  • Paid time off:  168 hours
  • Jury Duty as summoned
  • Holidays:  12
  • Unemployment Insurance
  • Workers Compensation Insurance
  • Travel Reimbursement:  Same as for State of Illinois employees for authorized travel.
