ILEAS recently received executed grants from the State Preparedness and Response (PAR) Fund as well as the Homeland Security Capital Replacement (CAP) Fund. These funds are intended to support homeland security activities established with Federal grants. ILEAS received $2,535,000 in PAR and CAP funding for the following projects:
- Starlink Satellite Services
- Cache Communications for Multi-Disciplinary/Jurisdictional Emergencies
- Special Teams Communications
- Operational Funds for Staff, Fuel, Insurance
- WMD Special Response Team Transport Trucks, Equipment Trucks & Trailers
- Mobile Field Force Equipment Trailers
- ILEAS Training Center Props
- Bomb Suits
- Special Teams Less Lethal
ILEAS has until June 20, 2024 to complete the acquisition and implementation of these projects.
