ILLINOIS LAW ENFORCEMENT ALARM SYSTEMS

ASBESTOS ABATEMENT WORK

 

The bid documents for the project, including plans and specifications will be available July 17, 2023 from the office of Reliable Environmental Solutions, Inc., 2760 West Jefferson Street, Springfield, Illinois 62702, phone 217/787-9800.

 

The project includes the following:

 

ILEAS Training Center Asbestos Abatement - Provide all material, labor, and equipment to remove and dispose of asbestos containing flooring, flooring mastics, and pipe insulation in various locations throughout the building.

 

Contractors may obtain one (1) hard copy of the Bid Documents with a refundable deposit of $50 per set, made payable to ILEAS. Additional copies of the Bid Documents may be purchased at a non-refundable cost to the Contractor. Plan deposits will be refunded in full upon the return of the Bid Documents, in good condition, within ten (10) days after the bid opening. The deposits of Contractors who do not submit a bona fide bid or do not return the Bid Documents within ten (10) days after the bid opening will not be refunded.

 

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at the ILEAS Training Center located at 1701 East Main Street, Urbana, IL. All bidders are required to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and to participate in a walk-thru of the facility.

 

BID DATE: August 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the ILEAS, Attn. Larry Evans, 1701 East Main Street, Urbana, IL 61802. No bids will be accepted after that date and time. Immediately after the closing time for receiving bids, they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

 

Contractor and Subcontractors shall include in bids, the cost for the current prevailing wage (Illinois Prevailing Wage Act - 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.). The Contractor shall ensure that any Subcontractors shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
