ILEAS Seeking Naloxone Distribution Project Manager

ILEAS is receiving a grant from the IL. Department of Public Health to distribute naloxone (often referred to as Narcan) to officers and deputies in 18 counties in Southern Illinois. This grant also provides for training of LE officials on the use of naloxone as well as availability of follow up treatment.  As a result, ILEAS is seeking to hire a Project Manager.  A successful candidate will have strong organizational/logistical skills, ability to communicate well with other government and private sector organizations and have well developed computer skills.  For more information, please click here for the job description.  This position is full-time (35 hrs/week) for the first year of this four-year grant.  Each year after that, the hours are reduced until the close of the grant.  This is a grant-funded position and as such, neither health insurance nor pension benefits are provided.  Since ILEAS is a homeland security funded public agency, applicants must pass a background investigation.   ILEAS anticipates that the grant paperwork and authorization to hire will occur in the next few weeks.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. ILEAS is an equal opportunity employer.  For more details, please see this job description.  Please email resumes and a cover letter - or questions - to Chief of Staff Larry Evans at lgevans@ileas.org. The pay range for this position is $52,150 to $54,600 depending on qualifications for the first year.
