The IL. Association of Chiefs of Police move their conference dates adjacent to ILEAS’ conference. The Chiefs’ conference is now April 21-22 (Thu/Fri) in Schaumberg. ILEAS’ original dates were April 24-26 (Su/Mo/Tu). Given that many chiefs would not be able to attend both conferences AND the ILEAS staff and Board did not want to negatively impact the Chiefs’ conference, ILEAS is moving its annual conference this year to June 12-14, 2016. It will remain at the Crowne Plaza for one more year. ILEAS is exploring other options with regard to both dates and location for 2017. We also realize that summer is not a good time for conferences because of vacations. As a result, ILEAS will return to the previous Sunday format of registration/check-in, vendors, beer/pizza and NO Sunday speaker.
