ILEAS has partnered with the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) and their cyber specialists, whose mission is to support our member agencies in strengthening their cyber security posture. The services of the Cyber Navigators are free of charge and include assessments of your existing information technology (IT) systems and security protocols. Each region of the state has specific specialists called Cyber Navigators assigned to them for training, response, and incident mitigation. As you may know, the average cost of a data breach in the US ($9.44M) is over twice that of the global average. The Cyber Navigators are available upon request and their contact information will soon be included behind your password-protected ILEAS login page.
