The Less Lethal Alternatives for Law Enforcement Taser device application has closed.
Thank you to all of the agencies that completed the application!
Over the next several weeks, each application will be scored by representatives from the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, Illinois Sheriff’s Association, ILEAS Governing Board, and ILEAS Staff. Once completed, ILEAS staff will contact each agency advising whether they are receiving a full, partial, or no award. Agencies receiving a full or partial award will be provided the number of devices awarded and a reimbursement amount for those packages. Additional information will be provided to guide agencies through the process of completing the Recipient Agreement and the necessary documentation to receive the reimbursement funds.
