On August 7, 2021, the PEACEMAKER PROJECT 703 will hold the Honor Celebration and Parade in Monticello. PEACEMAKER PROJECT 703 is a foundation created by the widow and family of Champaign PD Officer Chris Oberheim who was murdered in the line of duty on May 19, 2021. PEACEMAKER PROJECT 703 proactively supports law enforcement officers and their families through community outreach, reform and education.
