The Village of Sherman, Illinois (north of Springfield) is hosting a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 3 PM to 10 PM. It will be held at the Sherman Village Park. There will be speeches, food, lots of things to do for the family and live concerts later in the day. Proceeds go to the not-for-profit Illinois Concerns Of Police Survivors (IL COPS). IL COPS mission is the, "rebuilding of shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths."
