This course has a strong focus on body crimes, death investigations and advanced techniques and technologies in forensic science and processing scenes. Instructors will introduce different advanced evidence collection techniques, identification, and preservation techniques. The impact of these techniques upon specific criminal investigative disciplines will also be discussed and practiced. PRE-REQUISITE: Please note that this course requires that students have completed a 40-hr. Evidence Tech, Crime Scene Investigator, or similar certification.
